Racing Public Invited to Have Their Say at the 2026 Showcase Awards

The Racecourse Association (RCA) is delighted to once again be giving racegoers and owners the opportunity to have their say via two public voted Showcase Awards: Owners’ Racecourse of the Year, run in partnership with the Racehorse Owners Association (ROA), and the Racing Post Readers’ Award for overall customer experience.

The Racing Post Readers’ Award calls upon Racing Post readers to vote for their favourite racecourse based on customer service, value for money and overall raceday experience. Readers that let us know what they think by voting will be in with the chance to win a VIP raceday at their favourite racecourse and a Racing Post + Ultimate subscription.

The Owners’ Racecourse of the Year award, run in partnership with the ROA, asks ROA members and racehorse owners to vote for their racecourse of the year based on the raceday experience with a runner, raceday experience without a runner and the overall racing experience. Within these factors owners are asked to consider everything from the racecourse communications and welcome, to prize money and facilities for participants. This year, votes from owners will be combined with the results from the ROA’s Racecourse Accreditation Scheme, facilitated by The AA. The racecourse with the highest combined scores across the ROA Racecourse Accreditation Scheme and the public vote will win.

Voting for both awards is open now and closes at 11.59pm on Monday 5th October 2026. All racecourses in Britain are eligible.
