Caroline Davies, Racecourse Services Director, is today celebrating 30 years with Britain’s trade association for racecourses.

Caroline has been the driving force behind numerous initiatives at the RCA, including launching the RCA Showcase & Awards in 2010 and the Racecourse Groundstaff Awards and Groundstaff training programme.
No stranger to the Boardroom, Caroline continues to represent the RCA and British Racing on many Boards on a variety of subjects.
During her tenure, Caroline has mentored many colleagues who have since gone onto senior positions within the sport.
Alongside her daily RCA duties, Caroline is a keen advocate of equine welfare and is a Director of the newly formed independent Equine Welfare Board.
Perhaps the crowning moment of her RCA career was taking the company to BBC2’s Eggheads where Team ‘Rank Outsiders’ made it to the final with two eggs remaining, although sadly could not bring home the bacon.

On Caroline’s career and continued impact on the RCA and British Racing, RCA Chairman Maggie Carver commented: “Caroline continues to be a wonderful ambassador for the Racecourse Association and the British Racing industry as a whole. In many eyes, Caroline is synonymous with the RCA and has achieved an extraordinary amount in her 30 year tenure.
“Her passion, knowledge, and dedication to the sport is admired and respected across the industry. We are deeply grateful to Caroline and the whole team at the RCA look forward to many more years working alongside her.”
