Extraordinary General Meeting of The Racecourse Association Limited
All racecourses will have received the attached notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Racecourse Association Ltd, to be held on Monday 14 November 2022 at 10.00am. The meeting will be held at The Racecourse Association Ltd Offices, with the facility for remote attendance via web conference.
Along with the notice, racecourses will also have received:
- A copy of the proposed new Members’ Agreement of British Horseracing Authority Limited;
- A summary paper outlining the key terms of the new Members’ Agreement and certain other matters; and
- A copy of the proposed new Deed Poll which provides that any grouping of racecourses making up more than 25% of the total number of racecourses owned or operated by RCA Members may serve a notice (which may only be served once the trial period plus the review period (as set out in the new Members’ Agreement) plus 30 days have expired) on the RCA requesting that the RCA terminate the new Members’ Agreement in certain circumstances.
All racecourses are invited to attend the Extraordinary General Meeting to be part of the decision-making process. If you wish to attend in person, please inform Holly Cook by no later than 10am on Friday 11 November 2022.
