The introduction of seven double-points races has added a new dimension to this year’s Championship, helping to create a compelling narrative throughout the summer jumping period. Staged across different regions and spanning all levels of the race programme, these races have provided competitors with valuable opportunities to make significant gains in the standings. With four double points races still to come, including at Perth this weekend and at the finale at Newton Abbot, plenty of points remain on offer as the battle for Championship honours enters its decisive phase.

Kevin Walsh, Racing Director at the RCA, said: “The Sun Racing Summer Jumps Championship has delivered a competitive and engaging spectacle so far, with all four categories still providing plenty of interest. Racecourses and their ground-staff teams deserve tremendous credit for the hard work and dedication they have shown in this extended period of hot and dry weather, ensuring fixtures have been staged successfully throughout the summer. The support from Sun Racing has been fantastic, and we look forward to continuing the partnership to celebrate British summer jump racing.”

Callum Jamieson, Racing Editor at The Sun, said: “We’ve loved being involved in the Sun Racing Summer Jumps Championship so far. We’ve been keeping our readers in the loop with weekly updates and the stories behind the standings in our Favourite pullout. With a few categories still up for grabs, we’re excited to see who comes out on top next month.”
