By harnessing the power of the people’s race, Aintree have managed to nurture and develop long standing community partnerships and create new ones to further enhance their connection with the people of Liverpool.

Ayr—Raising Funds & Brand Awareness Ayrshire Cancer Support
Ayr wanted to ensure that its community work would truly make a difference, and by partnering with Ayrshire Cancer Support they’ve done just that.
The racecourse utilised all areas of the business to promote, raise funds and provide support to the charity. To date they’ve raised over £40,000 and have helped ensure Ayrshire Cancer Support remains a prominent help to those that need it.

Haydock Park—Housebuilders Careers Initiative
With a number of prominent housebuilders utilising Haydock Park for sponsorship activation, the racecourse took this to the next level and hosted a careers fair for local people to potentially find their next job and boost the local economy.
Hosted on the morning of racing, it was the perfect mix of work and pleasure, with plans afoot for 2024 given the success of the event.

Royal Windsor—26 Racedays, 26 Charity Partners
For 2023, Royal Windsor Racecourse wanted to use their standing in the community to create exposure and raise vital funds for 26 different local charities.
26 charity partnerships and £224,000 later the racecourse team have created a legacy within the community and have given smaller charities the chance to shine.

York—Remy Reaching the Places Other Racehorses Can’t
The racehorse is at the heart of everything York Racecourse does, and equine ambassador Goldream epitomises that.
Working with local schools and hospices, Remy has already met 450 locals this year, expanding the reach of York Racecourse and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Remy has also been a social media star, educating the masses on life for a racehorse after racing and showing the impact that the thoroughbred can have on people’s lives.
