The Showcase & Awards is the RCA’s annual marquee event, celebrating excellence and innovation across British racecourses.

2026 Showcase & Awards

The submission window for Showcase 2026 is now open. More details on this year’s event, categories and judging panel can be found in the 2026 RCA Showcase Companion Guide.

Racecourses wishing to enter the core award categories must use the official Showcase 2026 Submission Template. To enter an initiative into the Best of Beacon category, complete the Best of Beacon Submission Template.

Once complete, share your submission with the RCA team.

The Showcase is taken around the country each year, allowing the host racecourse to demonstrate their first-class hospitality. It encompasses two integral elements: a daytime conference and a gala evening awards.

The Showcase conference welcomes some of the biggest names in racing, sport and the wider leisure world to share best practice in providing exemplary customer experience. Our speakers provide insight and an abundance of insight across their areas of expertise in an open and inspirational atmosphere.

The Showcase Awards celebrate the best of British racecourses from the previous year. Racecourses submit entries across a multitude of categories before an independent judging panel determines the winners of each award as well as the overall Champion Racecourse.

The Awards cover all aspects of racecourse management and are centred on the core Showcase values of excellence and innovation. Our Champions’ Roll of Honour includes Doncaster (2011), Goodwood (2012), Chester (2013), Ascot (2014, 2016 & 2025), York (2015 & 2024), Aintree (2017 & 2022), Hamilton Park (2018), Pontefract (2019) and Musselburgh (2023).
